Materials: UV print, tissue paper, fire, wood, sand, found materials, artist’s tools
Dimensions:  90cm x 90cm x 100cm

Of Eros of Dust depicts the powerlessness when one encounters love.
It is produced during the artist’s reevaluation of her self-identity and her relationship with her mother, friends, and people she loves.

In The Agony of Eros, Byung-Chul Han discusses the power dynamic between one and the Other by comparing Eros’s power with Ares’s violence. While power of Ares lies in possession and domination of the Other, the power of Eros is only revealed when “being able not to be able”:
“......instead of affirming myself, I lose myself in (or for) the Other, who then rights me again.”

The I is paralyzed.
